Our Commitment to Data Rights: RayLabs and our social publishing automation service Morgans strictly adhere to data minimization, privacy protection, and transparent control. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of any personal data, identifiers, or tokens stored by our systems at any time.
1. Scope & Purpose
This document provides explicit instructions for users and Meta platform reviewers on how to request the complete deletion of user data processed by RayLabs Morgans (our social publishing automation worker operating with the Meta Threads API) and related RayLabs tools, in compliance with Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable privacy legislation.
2. Data Stored by RayLabs Morgans
Morgans is designed with a minimal-retention architecture running entirely on Cloudflare Workers edge infrastructure. To operate scheduled publishing and prevent duplicate broadcasts, Morgans stores only the following technical records:
- Threads User ID: The unique alphanumeric platform identifier assigned to your Threads account by Meta.
- Published Post IDs and Content Hashes: Cryptographic SHA-256 hashes of published snippets and corresponding Threads post IDs, retained solely to avoid duplicate transmissions.
- Handled Reply IDs: Identifiers of public replies handled by the system to prevent repetitive responses.
- OAuth Access & Refresh Tokens: Ephemeral server-side access tokens stored in encrypted Cloudflare Workers KV with automated expiration cycles.
Zero Sale or Sharing: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or transfer your data or social account details to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
3. Step-by-Step Data Deletion Instructions
If you wish to delete your data, revoke access, or erase all stored identifiers from RayLabs Morgans, please follow these simple steps:
Send an Email Deletion Request
From the email address associated with your account or developer registration, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Delete my Morgans data. Include your Threads handle or account ID in the body so we can identify your storage partition.
Server-Side Permanent Purge (Within 7 Days)
Within 7 business days of receiving your request, our engineering team executes a hard deletion:
- All stored OAuth access tokens and refresh credentials are immediately revoked and permanently deleted from Cloudflare Workers KV.
- All post ID logs, reply records, and rotation pointers associated with your account are completely expunged.
- Any associated transient edge cache entries are invalidated.
Published Threads Content Handling
Content that has already been published to the Threads platform lives on Meta's infrastructure and is governed by Meta's Terms of Service. As the account owner, you can delete any published post directly inside the Threads mobile application or website. If you also need us to issue an API deletion call for specific posts created via Morgans, specify the post URLs in your email and our team will trigger removal or confirm status.
Written Confirmation Receipt
Once data erasure is complete, we send a written confirmation reply to your email address containing a deletion confirmation timestamp and receipt identifier.
4. Data Deletion for Other RayLabs Utilities
A. Website Preferences (Theme & Reading Settings)
RayLabs stores your Light/Dark mode preference locally on your own device inside your browser's localStorage (key: raylabs-theme). This data is never sent to our servers. To delete it, simply clear your browser's cookies and site data for raylabs.app.
B. Poneglyph Chrome Extension
The Poneglyph Chrome extension operates 100% locally within your browser and does not maintain a remote backend database. To delete all local settings, simply uninstall the extension via Chrome's Extensions manager (chrome://extensions) or clear the extension's local storage data.
C. Email Correspondence
If you have contacted RayLabs for support, errata, or general inquiries, you can request the deletion of your historical correspondence records at any time by emailing [email protected].
